Scattered Scribblings is written by me, Sarah Jane. I’ve been a resident of Michigan for as long as I’ve been on this earth, and currently live near Grand Rapids.
Ever since I was little I enjoyed writing stories, but as I got older I lost the time for it. I also lost faith in my ability to come up with stories worth telling. This blog is my way of reconnecting with that excitement with storytelling that I had as a little girl. It’s also a way of stepping outside of my comfort zone and putting my stories out there where anyone might find them.
In addition to writing my own stories, I love reading and listening to stories of all kinds, whether it is a published book or just someone talking about their life.
I also have an interest in languages. I’ve learned some German in the past, but I’m pretty rusty. Currently, I study Spanish. What can I say, I guess I just love words of all sorts – in my own language or others!
